  • Location: Area of work will cover all of Kent although Kent Wildlife Trust’s head office in Maidstone is the nominal base.

    Salary: £10.00 per hour plus commission of 60% of the annual value of memberships (excluding Gift Aid) for each member recruited above target. (Target of two members per day worked).

    Closing date: Mon, 29/02/2016
    Working directly for Kent Wildlife Trust to recruit long-term members through face to face recruiting. This will be carried out throughout Kent at various events and venues including the Trust’s five visitor centre and reserves using attractive displays and materials.

  • Location: Reculver or Romney Marsh Visitor Centre

    Salary: £14,669 to £20,312 pro rata

    Closing date: Mon, 07/03/2016
    The post holder will have experience in working with the public in a visitor facing environment. Working with the Visitor Centre Manager this is a great opportunity to help shape and deliver the strategy at Reculver or Romney Marsh over the coming years (the successful candidate will have the choice of where to work).

  • Location: Old Park Hill Nature Reserve and the Old Park Community Centre in Whitfield

    Salary: £21,956 to £26,366 (pro rata)

    This post will be a real opportunity to develop a compelling engagement programme with communities in the local area and make a real difference to their quality of life through the participation, engagement and involvement with the improvement and nature conservation of the Reserve. This programme would be supported by Tutors and volunteers as well as outside contractors and so the post holder would need to co-ordinate these individuals.

  • Salary: Points 5-14/bar 16 currently £17,893 - £25,152/bar £26,762

    The East Kent Coast Warden will be responsible for the management of Sandwich & Pegwell Bay National Nature Reserve and Ham Fen Nature Reserve. The warden will be involved with the management of the Trust’s Beaver Project based at Ham Fen and will seek and facilitate conservation management in the wider East Kent Coastal Area around the Stour Catchment when opportunities arise.

  • Location: Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve

    Salary: This is an unpaid voluntary role however, travel expenses and a tailored training programme will be provided.

    Closing date: Mon, 21/03/2016
    Assisting the West Kent Reserves team in the management of Darent Traingle Reserves including Magpie Bottom and Fackenden Down.
