I Promote Margate Ramsgate and Broadstairs towns of The Isle of Thanet plus it's wonderful sandy beaches and bays. I have a theory you can always count ten ships off the coast of Margate and Cliftonville. I test this theory as often as possible. KINGS STEPS MARGATE

Staycation in Margate Broadstairs and Ramsgate Thanet
Sun sea and sand are all you need for a perfect holiday and I can guarantee you two out of three so 66% ain't bad. We need people who staycation. Thanet has some wonderful hotels and boutique hotels plus budget hotels. Margate was once the butt of all seaside landlady jokes but you can rest be assured Thanet has some fantastic accommodation to suit all budgets. I am asking people to consider the staycation as a form of balancing the counties finances and as a way of regenerating the area which just a few years back was on its uppers. Thanet suffered in the eighties and nineties but has turned a corner and is fast becoming the in place to visit stay and to relocate to. Many people have put their money into the area and invested their future by opening some fantastic businesses. The three main towns of Margate Broadstairs and Ramsgate have seen a renaissance. The whole area has a cafe culture and many new shops and Hotels making a visit to Thanet a sensory experience and we have a whole new art scene. Artists of all description are working in the area and anyone looking to view art the Turner contemporary draws the visitors but the numerous galleries and display areas bring art to life.
So a blog with the name Promote Thanet is duty bound to extol the gifts of the area but I can only give you words the real thing is way better than anything I can write.
