A Summer Squall, now in its 5th year is a 3 day family friendly multi-arts festival with something for everyone!
Ramsgate’s Harbour Parade is the bubbling hub of the festival with craft and produce markets, art workshops and outdoor performances. An open air stage will host world/root/swing music Saturday and Opera on Sunday
A festival of creative entertainment, events and activities music, dance, workshops, street theatre and craft market Sunday and Monday. With companies and artists from around the UK as well as East Kent, the weekend is inspiring, intriguing and a whole heap of fun.
Monday sees the return of the 'Boat Parade', with a boat paraded through the town to the beach and burned as the sunsets.
Open Saturday 10am - 11pm, Sunday 10am - 10pm and Monday 10am-9pm

  2. I must agree with the last comment, although not the language.
    Why must the organisers of this racket assume that everyone wants to be subjected to this noise. The bass volume is way too high. I pity the poor souls living in Wellington Crescent, it must be unbearable, even for a deaf person. TDC are particularly useless in everything they do, including Environmental controls. The local councillor who lives in the Plains of Waterloo must be away at her weekend retreat

  3. I agree with latest post. The bass volume is excruciating - do the residents of Wellington Crescent get a Council Tax refund for suffering this cacophony ?
    This event should be held at Manston Airport site, and there it will offend nobody and the morons who like this drivel can stay up all night (with apologies to the local wildlife - no not the human feral wildlife.)
    A short sighted self driven organisation by a mindless few who cannot afford to but a house in Notting Hill.
