Easter Weekend

Well for most of you it's back to the daily grind, I wish I could join you. Multiple sclerosis has robbed me of the joy of getting up for work after a weekend break. I had to smile yesterday Heather passed me on the landing she was carrying the tea cups and assorted bits and headed of downstairs and deposited them in the kitchen and was starting to wash them up before I had even crossed the landing with my zimmer frame. She finished them before I got to the foot of the stairs on my stairlift and she helped me into my wheelchair, as I said I wish I could join you back at work it would be easier than coping with MS. I am not complaining just trying to cheer those of you who are feeling a little jaded at being at work after the long Easter break. I hope you all ate loads of chocolate and had some fun in the Sun. I had a great weekend, I never joined my wife on the beach for the sunrise service helps by Saint Paul's church Cliftonville. All of those who did were treated to a beautiful sunny morning and the headed back to the church for a bacon sandwich.
Heather has spent a lot of time on one or another of Thanet' s beaches this weekend. Sunshine sea and sand was they order of the weekend. Westbrook beach, West Bay at Westgate and Walpole Bay. We are so blessed in Thanet to have such wonderful beaches. Miles and miles of Sandy bay's and beaches stretching from Birchingtons thorough Westgate Westbrook and onto Margate' s Maine sands and the harbour. Continuing onto Walpole heading onto Botany Bay and its miraculous chalk stacks. Mindshare Joss and Stone bay's and onto Broadstairs harbour. I used to live in Ramsgate and fished most of the great beaches there but Eastcliffe Richard keeps telling me I promote other towns in Thanet but never mention Ramsgate so I shall not break the habit of a lifetime on this post.
I listened to Radio Two this morning and Chris Evans was on about the next Bank Holiday weekends in May and I urge you to head on down to Thanet for its delights. See you soon.
