Epple Bay Ceramics Open Days for Christmas Gifts

I am always amazed at the variety and skills of local business, I never tire of hearing of people who risk going it alone. One such local start up is Epple Bay Ceramics it is a small family run ceramics business here in Thanet. I stumbled across them as I trawled the internet. I think it was Twitter that alerted me to their existence, I like twitter I wish it had been around when I was in business. Well I like ceramics and as soon as I discovered the tweet about the open days they are planning I delved deeper and discovered the facebook page and the online FolksyEpple Bay Ceramics shop. They have dozens of items for sale there from hand made ceramic bead earings and bracelets  (none in my shade unfortunately) to hand thrown decorated pots and bowls. Being all handmade if you have a special commission they can give individual service if you contact them they are happy to help. Have a look at the online shop or pop along and see them they are doing open days in the run up to Christmas. They are  celebrating Christmas this year by opening their  doors to the public for the second and final time this year. Avoid the high-street rush and look for handmade Christmas gifts in the comfort and kiln-heated warmth of the Epple Bay CeramicsStudio. Come for a browse (and a mince pie if you're lucky!)

We're at 137 Sea Road (on the seafront), Westgate-on-sea, Kent, CT8 8PZ
Little ceramic tokens of affection, boxed (wedding favours)

We'll be open Sat 30 November - Sun 1 December from 10am - 4pm, and again on Sat 7 - Sun 8 December from 10am - 4pm
So pencil those dates in and go along to find that special something and you can be sure it is a one off  hand made gift made here in Thanet
