I am ONE IN A MILLION at the Turner Contemporary

Yep I am one in a million the Turner Contemporary  is celebrating hitting the millionth visitor at the fantastic gallery. I have been a great fan of the TC since its earliest plans and it is a great benefit to revitalisation of Margate and Thanet.

  1. Come on, be honest, "one in a million" to use the cafe and loo actually.

  3. Anon I dont think one million people just went in to use the loo and I think the cafe is great but one million cups of tea is a lot. Believe it or not there are people who actually like modern art. The Turner is a fantastic asset for Thanet and if onne million people went through the door believe me it wasnt just for the loo.

  5. If it's such a success, why does it attract such poor Trip Advisor reviews, coming in as Margate's 13th best attraction?

  6. well Anon I recon you answered your own question there, facelless people can go on and slag off anything and anyone and Trip Advisor puts it up there for all to see. What came in as number one?

  7. Faceless people also leave positive comments. Shell Grotto is at number one. More than 100 (nearly a third) rate the Turner as poor or terrible. Nothing to do with whether you like modern art, but whether it's as popular as you suggest. Your first anon has a point.
