Roger Gale speaks out for Manston

Last week Roger Gale spoke out in defence of Manston Airport. He told MP's that air passenger duty is stifling growth at Manston. He claims by reducing or removing the tariff would generate more trade for regional airports like Manston Kent News Report here

  1. I agree with Roger. If APD were abolished, the speed limit on the M2 and A299 was raised to 130mph, and all of the level crossings in unesco world heritage site Canterbury were closed to speed up the trains to Manston parkway, I think it would be on the way to success.

Now all it would need are some airlines. How do we entice them from Heathrow?
