Jazz performance by Phil Robson and Christine Tobin

I am disappointed I wanted to go to the jazz night at the Turner Contemporary Project Space otherwise known as the old Marks & Spencer building in Margate. Trouble is my wife goes out on a Thursday night and I don't fancy trotting off down there in the wheelchair on my own. So my mission is to find one of my unsuspecting friends and persuade them they want to go and take me at the same time. Watch this space

  1. don, I went there once. my highlight was a large industrial waste bin covered in fairy lights (which i got told off for taking a mobile phone picture of - if its ok in the louvre, why not in an old M&S in Margate?)

I did get asked to leave after i sat staring at some fire extinguishers for 30 mins. I thought they were part of the exhibition, and so did the 2 other people in there during that busy, summer saturday.

It's nice they put these things in place for all those visitors Margate now gets, or will get in future when they can fly in.
